The reason they don't have a currency for Clams and Pearls are because the people with loads of clams would be able to have loads of pearls, and it wouldn't be fair to the people who couldn't earn alot of pearls. |

The real reason you cant trade pearls for clams is that people let their accounts get "hacked" too often. If they could lose items they payed real money for they would be even more upset at the loss. This is why you can't trade pearl bought parts, or pets, etc. |

The best way to "trade" Pearls for Clams is to buy FFVs and then sell them in the Trading Post.
